I've Been Busy

Over the past few months I have been scrappin' like crazy.  It has been lots of fun and I think pretty creative.  Here are some of my recent layouts.  Most are created with Memory Works products but some are created with stuff from my stash, old and new.

October Memory Works Challenge

This months challenge is another layout using a Page Map.  We can use any Memory Works products new or old.  I have some fun stuff in my stash that I think I will be digging out to use.  I'm not sure what pictures and theme I will use but I know I will have fun.  These challenges have been great in that they have inspired me to step outside of my comfort zone and try new thing.  I am anxious to get started on this challenge.  This weekend is going to be a busy and creative one for me.  Stay tuned!!

Here it is!!  My entry for the October Page Maps challenge. I am celebrating family!

September Challenge - back to school themed altered project

My third Memory Works challenge was an altered project with a back to school theme.  I created a school notes journal using the Elementary line of Simple Stories.  This was fun and I snuck in a picture of my favorite school supply from back in the day... a Pee Chee folder!!!

The challenge for August was to make a layout using any of the Simple Stories product line and follow a page map.  I also used the Elementary line for this challenge.  I created a layout using my senior picture and one of each of my younger brothers.  While I was not the winner of this challenge I think it was a really nice layout.  I am going to copy and send to my brothers.

Oh Scrap!

I have been inspired by the Simple Stories papers and coordinates. It makes it so simple to make beautiful layouts. They make me look like a seasoned scrapper!  If you have not seen these beautiful papers you should hop on over to http://www.memory-works.com/ and get acquainted.  I know it will be love at first sight.  You should also check out the Simple Stories blog http://simplestories.typepad.com to see all of the beautiful and creative lines available.

These are just two of the layouts I have made using the Elementary Simple Stories product line.  From elementary school to 35th high school reunions this is a very versatile and fun product to use.
